New Google UI with Location Auto-Detect

Since late last year, Google has been testing a new user interface (UI) which includes a feature that auto-detects a user's location and lists it under the search box. Although we've already seen Google's auto-detecting capabilities through features such as Local Business Results, the new pull-down option will allow manual input of a location. There may be a "nearby" option as well, allowing advanced location-based customization.

While Google hasn't yet released the new UI to the general public, it is popping up in various regions across the country, so keep an eye out!
